Day to Day

Itinerary

Today is the first full day of your 6day Tanzania Cultural Tour and Wildlife Safari, which begins with a drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania’s most beautiful national park, in your 4×4 safari vehicle. After breakfast, you’ll leave Arusha for the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey will take about two hours, but we’ll stop in Mto Wa Mbu, a market town along the way. This agricultural and fresh produce market is a mashup of local cultures and a treasure trove for souvenir hunters. You’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park after a brief stop at the village market. The park is a photographer’s dream come true, with some of the best views in the area.

We’ll start the second day of your 6 days Tanzania Cultural Tour and Wildlife Safari with an early breakfast because we have a full day of exploration and adventure ahead of us! Today you’ll take a scenic drive to the Serengeti National Park. Along the way, we’ll pass through the stunning scenery of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you might see cape buffalo, baboons, elephants, and leopards hiding in the dense vegetation. The drive to the Serengeti park gates is nearly four hours long, but you can break it up with one or both of the optional activities listed below:The Oldupai Gorge Museum, also known as the Cradle of Mankind, is a museum located in the Oldupai Gorge.

We begin your day by waking up before the sun rises to go on a sunrise game drive. You’ll spend your morning searching for leopards and lions hunting for their morning meal and spotting the contrastingly calm hippos returning to their watery homes with their families, accompanied by the melodic singing of the birds. We’ll return to your accommodation around 9 a.m. for a late and leisurely breakfast before continuing the game drive at 10.30 a.m. Your driver will plan the best route for you based on the time of year and the types of animals you want to see, tailoring your day to maximize your chances of seeing the Serengeti’s diverse wildlife. Dinner and a night in the heart of Serengeti national park.

After breakfast, you’ll go on a morning game drive through the Serengeti, then return for an early lunch. Then you’ll embark on a transit game safaris drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll pass through the crater’s rim. You’ll have the opportunity to see lean cheetahs and shy leopards, as well as foraging hyenas and, of course, the king himself, the lion.Dinner and overnight on the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim or in nearby Karatu Town, depending on the standard and type of accommodation requested from our options.

After breakfast, you’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is regarded as the World’s Eighth Wonder by UNESCO. You’ll quickly understand why this vast, verdant caldera has earned such a high reputation when you see it for the first time from the panoramic viewpoint. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most popular safari destinations in the world, with over 120 mammal species, including the fabled Big Five. It’s a great place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a solitary meal out of the grass plains, as well as large groups of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water.

You’ll be picked up before breakfast today because you’ll be joining the Hadzabe Bushmen for the chance to go food hunting. Despite Tanzania’s rapid development, the Hadzabe, one of Africa’s last true bushman tribes, continue to live as they have for centuries. The Hadzabe tribe, with only 2,000 members, is a fascinating people who provide us with a glimpse into life in Tanzania in the past. Local hunters will put on a show for us, demonstrating hunting techniques. This display, far from being a mere show, reveals a lot about their daily lives when they have to hunt.
