Tour Overview

The Coca-Cola Route

The 6 days Marangu route, also called the “Coca-Cola” route, is the oldest, easiest, and most direct path on Kilimanjaro. Gradual slopes, dormitory-style huts with mattresses and pillows, and straightforward logistics make it the most established option. It approaches from the southeast; ascent and descent share the same track, which keeps it busy but comfortable.

Gentle gradients and a direct line to the summit.

Hut accommodations with mattresses and pillows.

Historic, well-established route with clear staging.

Full support crew, transfers, and park fees included.

Happy with our experience—loved having our own guide

“We had so much fun and saw wondrous numbers of lions, elephants, zebras wildebeest etc. The logistics were seamless and we loved staying in The Serengeti at Moyo Camp and Kontiki Ndutu camp. Visiting Tarangire is also highly recommended.”
