DAY 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
Masai Mara
Your safari starts here, and we're so excited to be here with you. Meet your guide and ask any questions you may have. Then let's go out together and go on the safari you've been waiting for. One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. And bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.
DAY 2 & 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara
Spend more time exploring the stunning natural landscapes and extraordinary wildlife of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
DAY 4: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Serengeti National Park
You won’t find many better national parks in Africa than the Serengeti, which has few rivals when it comes to both the numbers and variety of animals. Track down the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy the vast horizons that are perfect for spotting predators (especially lions, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas) and their prey (buffaloes, impalas and kongoni), as well as elephants and giraffes. If you’re really lucky you’ll see a hunt, one of the most exhilarating sights anywhere in the wild. And at every turn, revel in its beauty, with flat-topped acacia trees silhouetted against the setting sun, and so many other classic African safari images.
DAY 5: Serengeti National Park Central, Tanzania
Central Serengeti
You’ll get to know the Serengeti and its colorful cast of characters even better with another day immersed in its wild beauty. Take to the sky with us on our balloon safari in Central Serengeti National Park. It will give you an entirely new perspective on the world down below. See how many animals you can spot. $550.00 Per person, Book and pay with us before trip.
DAY 6: Serengeti Central to Ngorongoro Highlands, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Highlands
There's so much to look forward to when you visit the Ngorongoro Highlands. It's a world of cool-climate forests and views of craters and cliffs that come into focus through the trees. Watch also for the wildlife that lives in the forest, such as elephants and buffaloes, and leopards if you're very lucky.
DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Tarangire, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Crater
Your first sight of Ngorongoro Crater is likely not one you’ll easily forget. As seen from the crater rim, this natural bowl, both vast and intimate, is one of Africa’s most beautiful natural features, stretching 19 green kilometers (12 miles) from one side to the other. Down in the crater itself, you'll explore an astonishingly rich, self-contained ecosystem that is protected by high crater walls. Here, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle within sight of elephants and black rhinos. Your day spent here will reveal a surprising variety of habitats, from the Lereal Forest and salty Lake Magadi to the plains that rise and fall gently all across the valley floor. Later afternoon shall have a road transfer to Tarangire for dinner and overnight. Spend the night in the middle of wildlife management area just outside the park ready for the next morning last game drive.
DAY 8: Tarangire National Park Game Drive to Arusha or Airport, Tanzania
Tarangire National Park
We think you’ll be impressed with Tarangire National Park. Most visitors love the distinct shapes of the baobab trees silhouetted against the sky that make this place feel like a fairy-tale African landscape. Or visitors remember the elephants that roam in family bands everywhere throughout the park. If you’re lucky, you’ll also encounter the big cats – lions especially, but also cheetahs and leopards – that are always a possibility here. And there’s a fair degree of certainty that you will tick wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and zebra off your wildlife-viewing list. Your Tanzanian safari draws to a close, and we're sure that you will have enjoyed it as much as we have. Leave Tarangire National Park in the afternoon and transfer to Arusha or Airport for your ongoing vacation schedule.
