Itinerary

When you arrive in Tanzania’s Dar Es Salaam Airport, your thrilling safari adventure begins. Meet your representative, take a domestic flight to Siwandu, and spend the next three nights there. This hotel is perfectly situated in Tanzania’s spectacular Selous Game Reserve, making it the ideal base from which to explore Tanzania’s least-visited but wildest game reserve.Spend the next few days going on game drives to see the large elephant herds and visiting the Rufiji River, East Africa’s largest river and home to the continent’s largest crocodile and hippo populations. Return to the camp to relax after thrilling river safaris and bush walks.Siwandu is set in an open palm forest on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, providing you with the opportunity to relax on your veranda and watch the sunset over the stunning scenery

Transfer to the bush airstrip after breakfast for your flight to Ruaha National Park. A representative will meet you there and transport you to Jongomero Camp.Spend your time going on game drives, exploring the river, and learning about the various bird species. Enjoy a delectable bush dinner or picnic lunch while watching majestic hippos frolic in the river.Relax in the natural rock pool for the remainder of your free time at the camp. Your nights will be spent in spacious thatched tents with private viewing decks.

Transfer to the airstrip after a delicious breakfast for your flight back to Dar es Salaam Airport, where your safari adventure will finally come to an end. Speak with one of our specialists about adding a few nights in Zanzibar for a convenient and fantastic tropical island finish.
